job_description.job_card.job_descriptionJD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 6+ years (Class of 2018+) of substantive labor and employment law experience Litigation Expertise : Significant experience managing litigation matters independently, including drafting pleadings , managing discovery , taking depositions , and handling hearings Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills Ability to oversee case strategy, manage deadlines, and interact directly with clients and opposing counsel Professionalism : Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a client-service mindset in a fast-paced environment Manage labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution Take and defend depositions , handle hearings , and engage in motion practice Conduct legal research and draft memoranda , briefs , and pleadings Advise clients on employment law compliance , workplace disputes , and risk mitigation strategies Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to support comprehensive client service Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $150,000 – $250,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; 401(k) plan; 529 College Savings Plan; paid maternal and paternal leave; time off; wellness initiatives; commuter benefits; and employee assistance programs Additional Perks : Sabbatical program, student loan refinancing support, relocation expenses, bar expenses and bar leave, concierge program, fertility treatments, adoption expenses, and corporate discounts
