Cranberry Creek Cranberries is currently looking for a Mechanic to support our marsh operations. The successful candidate will work out of Cranberry Creek’s Main location north of Necedah, WI. We need a candidate with stellar communication skills and a strong work ethic. If this sounds like you, start your application today!

Compensation : $22 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Preparing estimates, timelines, and other necessary documents for auto repairs
• Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems
• Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries
• Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions
• Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills
• Team up with the manager and other mechanics to diagnose and service equipment coming in for repairs.
• On-call responsibilities for Irrigation / Frost Protection and supporting head mechanic with engine performance during these times.
• Work with all types of equipment ranging from small engines to heavy equipment such as excavators, tractors, pick-ups, irrigation engines and pumps.
• Driven by the opportunity to problem-solve various projects and challenges throughout the year.
• Support team with maintenance and repair of the cranberry receiving station for harvest activities.
