About The Position

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Perform regular assessments of both mother and baby, monitoring for complications
• Educate new parents on postpartum recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding techniques
• Assist with breastfeeding initiation and troubleshoot feeding concerns
• Administer medications and manage postpartum pain control as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including lactation consultants and pediatricians
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient teaching accurately and timely
• Support rooming-in and promote bonding and early skin-to-skin contact
