Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a Radiology Technologist II for a full time, rotating shift, to assist with Fluoro, OR and diagnostic xrays.

Rotating schedule to include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Overview

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include : positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy / pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room / equipment / medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

Education

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification / Licensure

ARRT (R) (Required at time of hire)

BLS

Experience

Must have one year of previous radiology experience
