  • Employment Type : Travel Radiology Technician\n
  • Location : Traverse City, MI 49684 (Michigan healthcare jobs)\n
  • Duration : 8 weeks, with option for 13-week contract extensions\n
  • Setting : R1 Radiology Unit\n
  • Shifts : Wednesday - Thursday 11am - 11pm; Every other weekend 10am - 10pm (Week 1 : 3 x 12-hour weekday shifts; Week 2 : 2 x 12-hour weekday shifts + 1 x 12-hour weekend shift)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840\n
  • On-call : As scheduled\n
  • Holidays : As scheduled\n
  • Scrubs : Caribbean Blue\n
  • EMR System : Cerner\n

    • \n\nRadiology Technician Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician or X-Ray Tech\n
  • High School Diploma or GED required\n
  • ARRT Registry required (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)\n
  • BLS certification preferred\n
  • Experience with O-arm technology required\n
  • Ability to work in ER, OR, inpatient, outpatient, and provide portable radiology support\n

    • \n\nRadiology Technician Responsibilities\n \n

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, Dexa, Vascular, and general radiology exams\n
  • Support emergency, surgical, inpatient, outpatient, and portable radiology needs\n
  • Operate O-arm imaging equipment with proficiency\n
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR system\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care\n
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment\n
