Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled MES Implementation IT Support Specialist to assist in the deployment, support, and maintenance of our Manufacturing Execution System. This role will involve working closely with IT teams, Business, production staff, and the Production Technical team to ensure the successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of MES solutions within our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of MES software.
• Provide technical support during all phases of MES implementation, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Go-Live, and post-implementation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for MES-related issues from production and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering) to ensure smooth data integration and system performance.
• Support real-time data collection, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MES applications.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), configurations, and support guides.
• Escalate issues to MES Support and development teams or customer integration teams as required.
• Participate in user training and onboarding related to MES usage.
• Create Jira tickets with clear issues and success criteria.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; implement optimizations when needed.
