About The Position We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Jan 5, 2026. This 84-day opportunity features a 7 on / 7 off schedule with 16-hour overnight shifts from 4pm to 8am, providing care in a NICU environment. Job Details Location : West Virginia Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 84 days Provider Type Needed : Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 7 on / 7 off, 4pm-8am (16-hour coverage) Responsibilities and Duties Deliver advanced neonatal care in a NICU setting Manage and monitor critically ill newborns Perform assessments, develop care plans, and oversee treatment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes Respond to emergencies and provide stabilization as needed Maintain accurate patient documentation Adhere to all clinical protocols and standards Additional Information Must hold an active West Virginia license Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) board certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Experience in Level 3 NICU environments strongly preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
