Job Summary :
The Lead Host role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for our guests. The ideal candidate will be pleasant, detail-oriented, and consistently professional, possessing strong hospitality instincts and a genuine drive to exceed guest expectations. Success in this role requires the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicate effectively, and contribute to smooth service operations and the delivery of high-quality service.

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with guests and the community.
- Exhibit warmth and hospitality in all interactions.
- Drive sales and covers through precise management of reservation software.
- Lead and develop the host team.
- Ensure the overall guest experience surpasses expectations and cultivate relationships with guests, encouraging repeat patronage.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with guests and team members.
- Serve guests collaboratively by anticipating their needs, engaging in conversation and leading with hospitality
- Demonstrate the ability to work cohesively with both front-of-house and back-of-house colleagues.
- Possess exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail offerings and service standards, with the capacity to learn new food and menu items.
- Exhibit a passion for learning and active participation in daily food and beverage training.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the Toast POS system, Rewards Program, Gift Card, and Credit Card terminals.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Must successfully pass general information and food and beverage quizzes.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory role.
- Possess ServSafe and BASSETT / TIPS Certifications.
- Night and weekend availability is required.
