We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas beginning Dec 11, 2025. This role features full-day shifts from 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, working alongside a collaborative clinical team to perform NFPA 1582 physicals and related occupational health testing. Job Details Location : Kansas Start Date : Dec 11, 2025 LOA : 2 days Provider Type Needed : Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant Schedule : 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm; complete 1 exam every 15-20 minutes Responsibilities and Duties Conduct NFPA 1582 physicals for fire fighters Perform respirator and interim fire fighter clearance Read EKGs, review ultrasound and stress test results Complete clinical testing including hearing, vision, lab work, pulmonary function tests, cardiograms, and x-rays Perform mandatory hernia exams and optional rectal exams Collaborate with the PHS team to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Kansas licensure required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Fire fighter physical and occupational medicine experience strongly preferred Must be able to read EKGs and review diagnostic test results Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) accepted Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
