Job Summary
During the 17-Point Oil Change, the Automotive Service Center Courtesy Technician is responsible for the tasks that the customer can most readily see, such as vacuuming, cleaning the windows, and setting the tire pressure. Performing these duties with care and professionalism will create a positive impression with the customer. During the 17-Point Oil Change, the Courtesy Technicians duties and responsibilities include :
Drive vehicle into bay, prepare vehicle for service open hood, roll up windows, unlock doors, remove keysPerform Tech Talk servicePrepare service documents and prepare and affix static stickersPerform courtesy cleaning : vacuum interior, wash exterior windows.Visually inspect wiper bladesCheck and adjust tire pressure if necessaryReset oil indicator light, if applicableStart vehicle and check oil pressure drive vehicle out of bay and present to customerGeneral cleanupOther Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.
