Overview
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a motivated Lead Project Engineer to support the Fighters programs. The selected candidate will be the single technical point of contact to the F / A-18 or F-15 customers and Boeing leadership for various engineering changes. The candidate will also maintain technical management of the project by preparing project plans and measuring progress. It's expected that daily communication and coordination with the customer is a part of the battle rhythm. The selected candidate may be responsible to lead a portfolio of similar engineering change efforts with technical oversight of peers.
Responsibilities
Onsite Requirement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 5% of the time; domestically depending on business needs.
Security and Citizenship
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Typical Education / Experience
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay Range : Summary pay range : $114,750 - $155,250
