Banquet Server (Full-Time)

The SentryWorld Private Events & Banquet team is seeking a Full-Time Banquet Server to join their team. The team is looking for someone with a passion to deliver on our high standards for customer service, while working as part of a small, cohesive team. A professional and friendly demeanor is required.

What You'll Do

As a Banquet Server you will :

Ensure proper set-up of tables and bars in assigned meeting room according to Banquet Event Order

Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to meals, condiments and accompaniments.

Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring guests needs on a continuous basis

Promptly remove dishes from tables at conclusion of meal period and delivers to stewarding area

Open and serve wine or alcoholic beverages as directed.

Clean banquet rooms and banquet areas during and after functions

What it Takes

Age requirement of 18+ required

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

Must be able to obtain TIPS Certification

Familiar with various types of services -plated, buffet, working lunches, etc.

Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written and customer service skills

Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Work extended / non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Be a great listener and team player
