As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Specialist in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for personnel and assets. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Manage access control duties at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.Assist visitors, drivers, and employees by providing directions and information in a courteous manner, maintaining a positive image of Allied Universal.Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats and observe for unusual activity.Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company standards.Liaise with site management and law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities and / or incidents.Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response and security-related situations at the distribution location.What We're Looking For :
