Position : Fleet Tech

Location : Garner, NC

Pay : $30 to $32.50 / hour + 10% shift differential + sign-on bonus of $8,000!

Experience : 5 ASE certifications or 10 years of vehicle maintenance experience.

Education :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associates Degree preferred.

Type : Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule : Monday - Thursday, 1pm to 10pm; Friday, 1pm to 7 : 30pm

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Fleet Tech to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description :

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all fleet equipment.
  • Perform major and minor repairs to all fleet equipment as needed.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting of Diagnostic trouble codes or symptoms of fault.
  • Assist others when needed, able to train team members to make the team stronger and more knowledgeable.
  • Responsible for parts and forklift operations.

    • Position Requirements :

  • Must have own set of mechanical tools sufficient for their level of experience.
  • Be able to obtain a CDL A license within 6 months of starting position.
  • Electrical systems testing, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel, gasoline, and propane fuel systems.
  • Diagnose and repair air, hydraulic, and electric brake systems.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle HVAC systems.
  • General vehicle diagnostics and repair.
  • Onboard diagnostics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Battery-powered industrial equipment diagnostic and repair.
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with tools and equipment.
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles safely.
  • Valid Drivers License.
