Position Overview
The Senior Group Fitness Instructor (Evidence-Based) plays a critical role in delivering structured, research-supported wellness programs specifically designed for older adults. This role focuses on promoting healthy aging, physical activity, and social connection through evidence-based formats that have been approved. Responsibilities include leading classes, assisting with participant evaluations, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. While certification in programs such as SAIL, Matter of Balance, or Tai Chi for Arthritis is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate. Certification in at least one evidence-based program is required within 30 days of hire.

Minimum & Additional Requirements
High School Diploma and three (3) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. First Aid training.

Weekday morning availability is highly preferred to meet the needs of our most active senior participants. This position requires the passing of a criminal background check.
