This position will provide the intern with practical engineering experience as it relates to the design of electrical substations. Key Responsibilities :

• Work alongside staff engineers to help design parts of 12kV through 345kV substations, including physical layouts, one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Assist in producing detailed engineering design packages in accordance with AES Ohio and relevant industry standards (IEEE, NERC, etc.).
• Complete additional assignments as determined by their supervisor. Qualifications :
• A student pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• An academic standing of Sophomore or higher is preferred. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a strong academic background, exceptional attention to detail, and organizational skills.
