Summary : The Senior Environmental Specialist coordinates with and provides support to Field Operations teams, Engineering, Regulatory, and Construction personnel to ensure compliance with all environmental requirements and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work with other Environmental team members to apply company environmental policies and procedures effectively and consistently across area of responsibility to ensure environmental compliance.
• Coordinate and provide technical support to operations, engineering, regulatory and construction personnel.
• Maintain records and perform calculations necessary to ensure compliance with environmental permit conditions.
• Prepare environmental reports for submission to various environmental agencies.
• Develop a proficient knowledge of current federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations that affect company operations.
• Assist in the interpretation of regulations and prepare and provide training to company personnel to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Interact (both in written and verbal form) with federal, state and local environmental agencies, and facilitate external audits and agency inspections
• Assist with developing environmental scopes of work, participate in maintaining records, and train and conduct audits of operations and construction activities.
• Assist in area Emergency Response drills and incidents and be able to fill in as an ICS team member.
