This is a 100% in-office based position.

Position Summary :

The Physician Credentialing and Licensing Liaison is responsible for effectively communicating and assisting between the Licensing and Credentialing Department and physician. The Physician Credentialing and Licensing Liaison ensures that all documentation which is requested from the Licensing and Credentialing Department is obtained in a timely manner. The Physician Credentialing and Licensing Liaison also ensures that the management team is made aware of any potential issues with all inventory and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain relationship with Physician, Licensing and Credentialing Department
  • Chairs weekly meetings with Physician to ensure documentation is obtained
  • Assists in obtaining documentation which Licensing, and Credentialing Department require which includes reaching out to all departments where the physician may have previously worked, went to school, lived, etc.
  • Ensures the provider is setup and maintains all items needed for pre-onboarding
  • Submits all documentation needed to the Credentialing and Licensing Departments on behalf of the physician
  • Follows up with any missing information needed to complete licensing and credentialing process
  • Makes leadership aware of any potential issues with inventory and processes
  • Maintains a documented process of items which are missing and all outreach, follow-up and where documents are in process
  • Follows up on any missing information needed to complete credentialing and licensing process

  • 2-4 years Medical / Hospital / Administrative / Customer Service experience preferred
  • Education / Experience :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Office Credentialing, Enrollment, or Licensing experience a plus
  • Computer Skills :

  • Microsoft 365
  • Credentialing & Salesforce Software a plus
