Overview

Nexstar Media Inc is looking for a Digital Producer to join our KOLR / Ozarks FOX / KOZL Production staff.

The Digital Producer will be responsible for organizing content for use with our digital platform, and coordinating between the Production, News, Lifestyle, Promotions, and Digital departments.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes the recording schedule for multiple digital assets
  • Assists in the production of multiple digital broadcasts
  • Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Observes camera shots through monitors and directs camera / video staff concerning composition
  • Ensures various properties are up-to-date with latest content
  • Creates content for multiple social media and promotional purposes
  • Trains technical staff on use of OBS and other digital properties
  • Tests equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills

  • High school diploma
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with online platforms and social media applications, as well as general proficiency with computers
  • Experience with OBS Studio and Canva preferred
  • Experience in Broadcast Television or a related field preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    • Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Media Production or Communications, or a related field preferred. Must be able to handle strict deadlines. Candidate should be a problem solver and quick thinker to resolve existing issues and to work around problems that arise during live content creation. Please be prepared to furnish current references and shows (if available).

    This position is hourly. Starting pay rate is $16 / hr. Other compensation includes Medical, Dental, Vision, vacation, 401K match, and Paid Parental Leave.
