About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Profession : Technologist

Specialty : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 2+ years required, must have OR experience, experience with X-ray required

License : Michigan license verification required

Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

BLS must be AHA certified and must be willing to obtain prior to start

Description :

Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures.

Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment, including but not limited to X-ray.

Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.

Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.

Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients.

Ensures the needs of individual patients are met.

Participates in on-call rotation, which includes a week of call per month and one weekend per month.
