🛑 URGENT NEED – RN (Med Surg / Postpartum / Pediatrics)

🏥 Athens, TN

📅 Orientation : Bi-weekly on Mondays

🧭 Travel Radius Rule : Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

📄 Tennessee Abuse Registry : All clinical staff must be cleared prior to start

🔹 Position Overview

Department : Med Surg / Postpartum / Pediatrics

Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 36 / week

Weekend Requirement : Rotating

On-Call : None

Start Date : ASAP

🔹 Minimum Requirements

Certifications Required : BLS, PALS

Experience :

2+ years Med Surg experience required

Recent Postpartum and Pediatrics experience strongly preferred

Must be confident in caring for adult med-surg and postpartum patients due to low birthrate volume

Skills Required :

IV and NG tube placement

Fundal checks

Preferred Certifications : ACLS, NRP appreciated

Float : May float to other Med Surg units
