Foot Locker Equipment Operator

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the service center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for put away. The Equipment Operators position requires associates to be taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation Operators duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems including use of computer logs and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery. All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate.
Rate : $21.00 / hour
Shifts Available : Monday - Thursday 11am - 9 : 30pm

Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation. Required to stand (stationary position) and walk during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods. Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed. Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed. Must be able to meet the certification and operating requirements for machines including all OSHA and harness regulations. Based on business necessity associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
Required Education and Experience : High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 6 months of previous equipment operations experience highly preferred. Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English
