We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematologic Malignancies team! This position is a unique opportunity to join a state-of-the-art facility with a warm, family feeling.

The Boise St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to cancer patients, offering a spectrum of services from early detection to survivorship support. Within SLCI, the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program is a beacon of comprehensive care and cellular therapy for individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers. Distinctively, Boise SLCI hosts Idaho's sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, ensuring patients access to the most cutting-edge therapies in their community.

What you can expect from this role

  • Full-time (0.9 FTE), day shift
  • Schedule : 9-hour shifts x 4 days a week
  • No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
  • Sign-on bonus & relocation assistance eligible for new hires!
  • Certification pay (ex. OCN)
  • BMT Triage RN : responsibilities include phone triage, patient education, care coordination, and float to the newly established BMT Infusion Clinic, where stem cell transplant and CAR T patients are evaluated and managed
  • Utilize strong critical thinking and assessment skills to triage calls and evaluate patients of all ages undergoing treatment
  • Promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families
  • Minimum qualifications for this role

  • Education : Nursing Degree
  • Experience : One (1) + years’ RN experience
  • Licenses / Certifications : Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Preferred : OCN certification, BMTCN certification, and / or Oncology experience
