IT Support Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a IT Support Field Technician to provide onsite and remote IT support across multiple locations. This role reports to the Regional IT Manager and involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT systems and equipment. The position requires frequent travel (approx. 50%) to affiliated offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for computers, peripherals, mobile devices, network equipment, and other company-owned technology.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware / software at regional offices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level I support tickets; document solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with server and network maintenance as assigned.
  • Train and support end-users in technical solutions and software applications.
  • Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects and address technical needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT-related work or academic experience (MSP experience preferred).
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% (car / plane).
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to support and train users at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Team player with strong collaboration and consensus-building skills.
