Staff Today is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a local contract job in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Professional Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate : $45 / hour

  • W2

    • Shift Details :

  • 0545-1815, every other weekend, holidays PRN per unit needs

    • Job Responsibilities :

  • Main duties : med pass, assisting with admissions and other standard nursing LPN duties.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of Wisconsin
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) or Red Cross
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
