Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : 12H Nights EOW, nights, first to float \nDepartment : LDRP RN\n

  • Certifications Required : BLS, NRP, AWHONN intermediate (advanced preferred), STABLE\nL&D Beds : 7 L&D- # of Postpartum beds : 12 Postpartum, 8 Surgical- # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections : 1 C-Section dedicated OR, 2 GYN surgical OR- # of Triage beds : 3 bay triage (avg 17 patients / month) allow travelers to triage based on experience - # of Births per day Month Year : Annually 643- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios L&D : 1 : 1-2, Postpartum : 1 : 2-3 couplets, 1 : 3-4 surgical / medical- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Obstetric, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum MgSo4, pre E Pregnancy, accept 23+ weeks; Gestational hypertension, Gestational diabetes, No cardiac intervention- they will take occasional higher risk patients, Post partum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterectomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies- \n\nExperience or 'Must have' skills : 3yrs experience
