Senior Recruitment Consultant | Energy Markets

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Planner to support industrial maintenance and turnaround projects in Louisiana . This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing electrical and instrumentation work packages, managing materials procurement, and ensuring safe and efficient operations during plant outages and maintenance activities.

  • Workplace : On-site
  • Work Schedule : 40 hours a week / Monday-Friday
  • Work type : W2 Contractor (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
  • Estimated Duration : July 2025 – July 2027
  • Rate : Hourly with 1.5x OT

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks, including outage and shutdown activities.
  • Develop detailed job planning packages including P&IDs, BOMs, safe work procedures, QC requirements, and contractor instructions.
  • Create and update detailed schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy in manpower, task durations, and dependencies.
  • Lead assigned outage scopes through planning and execution phases while managing risk and ensuring contractor safety.
  • Coordinate procurement, expediting, and pricing of materials to ensure availability for planned work.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and ensure timely documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain communication with craftspeople, contractor representatives, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
  • Perform daily schedule updates during outage execution and ensure closeout documentation meets quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce safety practices, including housekeeping inspections and adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance planning and execution.

    • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical maintenance or engineering experience, including LV & HV motors, heaters, and power distribution equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical package planning for industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret E&I drawings and P&IDs.
  • Skilled in preparing and reviewing test / work packages for field execution.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, Primavera P6, and Adobe.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of meeting state-mandated certifications (OSHA, TWIC, etc.) as required.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and lifting when necessary.
