Part-Time Fire Inspector

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Part-Time Fire Inspector position. Working as part of a team, the West Chester Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to a community of 65,000 residents, 3,000 businesses occupying 35 square miles. Current hourly rate is $22.57 / hour.

Required Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current Ohio Firefighter certification (Level II)
• Current Ohio Fire Inspector Certification
• 5 years of experience as a Certified Fire Safety Inspector

Preferred Qualifications :

Position is open until filled; the hiring process for this position includes : panel interview, polygraph, background check, and a drug screen.
