About The Position

Job Title : Travel RN - ICU

License : RN License in good standing

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Vasopressor IV drip titration experience
• Ventilator management experience
• Care of sepsis and arrhythmias
• Experience with med / surg critical care patients

Description :

Join our team as a Travel RN in the Intensive Care Unit.

The ICU has 21 beds and a team of 45 staff members.

The night shift consists of one charge nurse without patient assignments and 6-8 nurses.

Patient ratios maintain a standard of 2 : 1, with adjustments for step-down patients and high acuity cases.

Equipment includes Hospira IV pumps and EMR is Meditech.

Candidates should have experience managing vasopressors and ventilators.

Additional skills in cardiac experience and CRRT are preferred.

Typical procedures performed include intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy.

We are looking for team-oriented individuals with a good sense of humor.

Staff are required to work every third weekend and one major winter holiday.

Self-scheduling is available, and there may be floating to telemetry and other units as needed.

This is a small community hospital where most patients are elective cases.

The unit is designated as Magnet and has intensivist coverage 24 / 7.
