OSAAVA Services is seeking an experienced IS and Cyber Security Professional – Intermediate to support the United States Air Force's Integrated Air Force Network Operations and Security (IAFNOS) contract at Langley AFB, VA. This position is responsible for maintaining, securing, and strengthening the Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) through proactive cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and compliance with DoD / USAF security standards. If you have a strong background in cybersecurity operations and a passion for protecting national defense systems, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact supporting Air Force missions.

Key Responsibilities
Administer, operate, update, patch, configure, integrate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain vulnerability management systems.Develop and enforce IT security policies and standards to prevent unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.Conduct vulnerability assessments using Air Force-provided tools; scan, track, record, and report vulnerabilities.Upload results to DISA's Vulnerability Management System (VMS) for review and remediation.Perform patch management for servers, workstations, and network devices.Manage and troubleshoot the Air Force End Point Protection System (AEPS) to safeguard all Air Force client systems.Ensure compliance with DoD / USAF cybersecurity directives, orders, and network defense requirements.Track and document compliance for all required security updates and patches.Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain security posture and readiness.Provide timely and accurate communication with co-workers, management, and customers regarding system security status and remediation efforts.Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance (required at time of application)Minimum of 2 years of experience in information or cybersecurity operationsBachelor's degree in a related field, or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeDoD 8570.01–M IAT–II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)Experience with DoD / USAF information security policies and RMF (Risk Management Framework) processesStrong understanding of security control implementation, vulnerability management, and compliance reportingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Air Force or DoD cybersecurity environmentsFamiliarity with DISA STIGs, ACAS, and RMF evidence documentationKnowledge of Air Force Network Defense (AFNetD) operations or equivalentPhysical Requirements
Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the timeOccasionally move about the office to access files or equipmentFrequent use of computers and office productivity toolsRegular interaction with co-workers and customers, including presentations and updatesShift Work & Travel
