About Us

We’re a wholesale seafood operations company based in the Fulton Fish Market (Bronx, NY). Every night, we source, process, and distribute premium seafood to restaurants, retailers, and markets across the tri-state area. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision, accountability, and timing are everything.

We’re growing fast and looking for a detail-oriented team member who can help us maintain financial accuracy and operational flow through diligent order entry and AP / AR management.

What You’ll Do

Order Management

  • Enter and verify daily seafood orders in the system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Cross-check quantities, prices, and product codes; flag and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure clean order flow.

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

  • Maintain up-to-date AP and AR ledgers in QuickBooks Online.
  • Issue and record vendor payments, checks, and credits as needed.
  • Follow up with vendors and customers on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile statements and prepare weekly aging and summary reports.

    • Finance & Operations Support

  • Manage and reconcile fleet cards and related expense documentation.
  • Approve and code invoices, flagging any pricing or quantity mismatches.
  • Maintain expense records, categorize entries, and ensure proper posting in QuickBooks.
  • Build and share margin and profitability reports with management.
  • Support daily finance operations and other administrative tasks as needed.

    • What We’re Looking For

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Financial Field Required
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or accounting support.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in financial record-keeping.
  • Comfortable working independently during evening hours (6PM–2AM EST).
  • Clear communication and follow-up skills.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in wholesale, distribution, or seafood / food industry operations.
  • Experience handling AP / AR, reconciliations, and payment cycles.
  • Exposure to ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of margin and cost analysis.
