Founded by Stanford peers we are an AI-driven shopping assistant revolutionizing e-commerce with personalized, cost-effective recommendations. We raised $8 million from Kleiner Perkins to rebuild shopping, and next month, we’re launching our app and mobile extension. After a successful beta we’re officially launching with 1,000+ direct retail partners.
The shopping tool rates items as you shop—so you know if an item is worth the price, or if there are lower prices available. Our platform consolidates data from over 150+ secondhand partners, including The Real Real, eBay, and Poshmark, creating a streamlined shopping experience. We simplify the fragmented discount market by offering real-time insights into brand popularity and underpriced inventory.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of the iOS app and mobile extension using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Implement user-facing features including search, product discovery, and a personalized shopping feed with interactive elements
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams to create seamless, intuitive, and delightful user experiences.
- Integrate APIs and backend services to power real-time price insights, brand comparisons, and secondhand inventory surfacing.
- Optimize performance, maintain code quality, and ensure app stability across devices and OS versions.
- Set up and monitor analytics and user behavior tracking to inform product decisions and improve engagement.
- Work with the engineering team to ensure feature parity between the mobile app, browser extension, and desktop platform.
- Contribute to app store deployment, testing, and ongoing improvements through sprints and user feedback cycles.
- Participate in quarterly hackathons and cross-functional sprints to rapidly prototype and test new mobile features.
- Stay up to date with Apple’s ecosystem updates and evaluate how emerging technologies can improve the mobile experience.
- Stay up to date on top coding tools including Cursor and Play to optimize for speed and excellence
- Champion best practices, foster engineering excellence, and build strong foundational codebases and infrastructure.
Ideal qualifications :
2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and mobile design best practices.Proven experience launching and maintaining mobile apps in the App Store.Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs; ability to integrate complex backend systems into mobile interfaces.Comfortable with performance optimization, debugging, and monitoring tools for mobile.Experience working with cloud-based services (we use GCP) and third-party SDK integrations.Previous startup or early-stage experience preferred.Interest in or experience with AI-driven product features.Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Bonus : Experience with browser extensions, mobile-first search interfaces, or personalization engines.Evidence of side projects, open source contributions, or continuous learning.
