Responsibilities :

  • Create design concepts and develop them through all design phases.
  • Select and specify interior finish materials, and produce finish material boards.
  • Utilize space planning, knowledge of codes, and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Produce construction documentation, oversee construction administration, and review submittals.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (CIDA accredited).
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Educational and Healthcare sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting design concepts to clients.
  • Proficient in Revit, Sketchup + Vray, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience in finish material selections, specifications, and production of material boards.
  • Strong skills in space planning, code compliance, and mechanical systems understanding.
  • Experience in production of construction documentation, construction administration, and review of submittals.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
