Job Title : Locum Physician - OB / GYN

Summary : A renowned healthcare facility in Garden City, Kansas is seeking OBGYN coverage for upcoming dates. This location offers a full spectrum of services including clinic and inpatient care in a supportive environment. Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings.
  • Conduct surgical consultations and perform all OBGYN procedures, including C-sections and hysterectomies.
  • Manage obstetric patients throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
  • Participate in surgical blocks for non-emergency surgeries twice per week.
  • Handle emergency gynecology and obstetric cases during on-call shifts.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and midwives to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications :

  • Board Certified OBGYN or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion).
  • Experience with a minimum of 5 hysterectomies and 5 C-sections in the past 24 months.
  • Ability to provide documentation of at least 50 deliveries in the last two years.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Active Kansas medical license (highly preferred).
  • Active BLS certification (required for credentialing).
  • Active DEA license (required for credentialing, transferred DEA considered).
