Security Officer - Residential Patrol Driver

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine driving patrols throughout the residential community to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment as you respond to service calls, support access control measures, and offer outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability while adapting to the unique needs of this dynamic residential location. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.Conduct routine and random patrols throughout residential buildings and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations within the residential location.Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related issues.Collaborate with property management and / or emergency services when required, following established protocols.Maintain accurate and detailed reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities while on patrol.Offer assistance and clear guidance to residents and visitors to support a welcoming and secure environment.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.At least six months of security-related experience is required.Possess customer service experience, preferred.Possess access control and badge experience, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
