Were looking for a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing Aviation Team in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a rare opportunity to work on nationally recognized aviation projectsfrom international terminals to regional airports, aircraft hangars, flight training centers, and general aviation facilities.
As a project manager and technical lead, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects with budgets ranging from $10K to $1M+, helping shape the infrastructure of airports across the country. This role is ideal for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys collaboration, takes pride in design excellence, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
What Youll Do
Lead and coordinate structural design efforts in-house and with external consultants.
Manage teams of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors throughout design and construction.
Develop project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee QA / QC processes and ensure compliance with internal standards.
Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear communication and reliable delivery.
Attend project and client meetings and represent the company with professionalism.
Required :
Bachelors degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Minimum of 9 years of progressive structural engineering experience.
Strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred :
Experience managing structural projects from concept through construction.
Demonstrated success in internal and external communication.
Advanced project management skills, including schedule and budget oversight.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and meet deadlines.
Professional demeanor with the discretion to handle confidential information.
