Job Overview
Reporting to the North America Finance Manager, Artemide is looking for an AP and HR specialist that will lead all the AP processes and manage the majority of the HR processes, ensuring that the records are accurate, timely and compliant with local GAAP accounting principles, local fiscal and HR laws, and audit standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all the AP payable invoice postings (third parties and intercompany), asset invoices included;
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment, including matching PO and goods entry;
- Submit invoices to Finance Manager for payment approval using the DocuWare portal;
- Maintain the AP general ledger and aging and answer to the suppliers e-mails;
- Manage the HR processes in our payroll portal (timecards check, hiring and resignation processes) and the related payroll postings in our accounting system (health insurance and 401K plan included);
- Manage some prepaid and accrual postings related to the AP and HR flows;
- Write down the hiring letters and manage the HR communication with the employees and the resignation processes;
- Prepare and file the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC reports as well as the 5500 report for our 401K plan;
- Support with the sales tax filing through Avalara platform.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required;Deep understanding of the US GAAP and general ledger entries rules (debit and credit postings);Demonstrate a time-building attitude and a critical approach;Excellent attention to detail with ability to work with deadlines;Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word;Knowledge of SAP Business One, DocuWare, Avalara and ADP portal is a plus.Compensation
The salary range for this position is up to $75,000.00 depending on experience. The company grants health insurance and a 401K plan with matching.
