United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring an Associate Director, Special Events to join our team. As an Associate Director, you will manage UWM’s Giving Community event activities including signature events and revenue generation opportunities. Manage auction and curation of auction lots that helps generate revenue for United Way’s work in education, health, and financial stability. Supports income-generating activities associated with events; seeks product donations with purpose to maximize net revenue from events.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Leads the strategy, execution, and outcome analysis of all revenue generating events, initiatives and how they measure against financial goals.
Requirements :
Education Requirements : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree a plus.
Experience Requirements : Three to six years’ experience in special event and program logistics; project facilitation a plus.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and present to groups.
