About the Role

We are hiring a Licensed Psychologist (LP) to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences. This role is perfect for a clinician who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostic assessments using standardized tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, or DISCO
  • Deliver results to families with clarity and compassion
  • Write thorough reports and submit them within 7 days of each evaluation
  • Offer follow-up guidance to support families with the next steps in care
  • Operate as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) per NC Medicaid standards
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive, child-centered care
  • Help maintain clinic audit readiness and contribute to quality improvement efforts
  • Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and ethical clinical practices
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a related field
  • Active Maryland LP or LPA license
  • Experience with autism evaluations and standardized diagnostic tools
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a team setting
  • Previous clinic-based experience is preferred but not required
