Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electrical fasteners, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process, supporting the production and packaging of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, aligning successfully with the organization’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Job Title : Machine Operator

Location : Alexandria, MN

Pay Range : $18 - $19 / hour

Shift : 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday) and 3rd shift (11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday)

What's the Job?

  • Operate assembly equipment to meet daily production requirements
  • Perform periodic product inspections following established instructions
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain optimal machine operating speeds
  • Complete daily production reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to operate production assembly equipment effectively
  • Experience using basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gages
  • Strong math skills, particularly addition and multiplication
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary and adapt to various job roles
