Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming shipments, preparing and pulling work orders for production, and coordinating transportation for outgoing products. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Verify and record incoming shipments, comparing information against bills of lading, invoices, and other documentation.

Inspect and unpack shipments, noting damages or shortages, and coordinate with purchasers to resolve discrepancies.

Sort, label, and store materials in designated areas using forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment.

Pull work orders for manufacturing and distribute materials to appropriate departments.

Generate picking sheets, accurately pull and pack inventory for shipment, and prepare bills of lading.

Use computer software to process and ship customer orders.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.

Assist with physical inventory counts and other departmental duties as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and outside vendors.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1–3 months of related warehouse or shipping / receiving experience preferred.

Basic computer skills (knowledge of MAS 90 or shipping / inventory software a plus).

Valid forklift certification required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic math and reasoning skills.

Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (and occasionally up to 100 lbs).

Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-handling devices.

Work in various environmental conditions, including occasional exposure to outdoor weather.

Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
