We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to support our operations in Shelbyville, Kentucky. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate records, managing data entry processes, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Responsibilities :
- Input and track work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and corrective activities within the system.
- Request and set up new material codes while initiating vendor profiles.
- Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for operational needs.
- Organize and maintain documentation, records, and reporting for maintenance activities.
- Compile and present data using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and stores teams to streamline workflows.
- Generate accurate reports and ensure timely communication of key insights.
- Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Support administrative tasks critical to operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with systems involving materials management, vendor setup, purchase orders, and work orders.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- 2–3 years of experience in an administrative or data entry role is advantageous.
