Director, Social Engagement

Our innovative content and social enterprise is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Social Engagement to lead groundbreaking social strategies for our high-tier pharmaceutical and health clients.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing enterprise-level social solutions and crafting sophisticated brand social strategies. Working closely with the VP, Social Engagement, you'll design and execute thoughtful social media programs, always with an innovative, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset at the core. You will serve as a primary client contact, fostering strategic partnerships across our agency network and shaping the future of health communications.
What You'll Do :
- Client Leadership : Serve as the lead client contact for brand social strategy, influencer programs, and social content development, building strong relationships and positioning our clients as advocates for social innovation.
- Strategic Vision : Develop and implement enterprise social solutions and cohesive brand social strategies for high-tier clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Integrated Solutions : Collaborate seamlessly with paid social and social intelligence teams to orchestrate truly integrated and impactful social offerings.
- Relationship Building : Grow and nurture relationships with client social teams, facilitating their integration and continuous growth within our programs.
- Agency Network Management : Act as the key point person for agency network health partners within respective disciplines, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Interface regularly with diverse cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class thinking and action for our clients.
- Innovation & Tools : Stay ahead of market shifts and emerging toolsets, ensuring the CMI Media Group social team utilizes cutting-edge, best-in-class solutions.
- Team Mentorship : Mentor and inspire junior employees across the agency, fostering a culture of productivity, job satisfaction, and professional growth.
- Client Advocacy : Generate enthusiasm and commitment for our clients' businesses among internal team members, ensuring their success is a shared priority.
What You'll Bring :
Experience : Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive social strategy experience, specifically managing high-tier clients in an agency or in-house SME team setting.Agency Leadership : Proven experience in agency management, ideally with Fortune 500, large-scale pharmaceutical, or health clients. Agency experience is strongly preferred.Team Management : Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a strong ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.Industry Expertise : In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical / health industry and its unique regulatory landscape within the social media space.Strategic & Innovative Mindset : A strong strategy and innovation background, consistently challenging the status quo, never accepting the baseline, and always dreaming bigger.
