Regional Communications, Associate Director

Huntington Bank is seeking a Regional Communications, Associate Director to develop and execute strategic communication plans for select regions within Huntington Bank's footprint. The Associate Director will provide strategic leadership as the corporate communications lead within their portfolio of regions, guiding messaging and fostering alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communication plans and manage communication programs and initiatives that increases awareness and engagement among and external stakeholders, including media, clients, partners and communities.
• Secure regional news coverage that tells a consistent and holistic story about Huntington's brand, business priorities and initiatives.
• Collaborate across Corporate Communications, Regional Marketing and other teams to generate compelling content that engages colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Draft, manage, and distribute internal and external communications, including news, organizational announcements, corporate developments and crisis management through a variety of internal and external media.
• Develop communication briefs, executive summaries, talking points, video scripts, presentations, and frequently asked questions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of enterprise and local initiatives to foster effective collaboration and ensure strategic alignment across regions.
