Cardiology Physician

I have a client in Virginia looking for locum Cardiology coverage. Please review the coverage below. If you are looking for a different location or type of locums assignment, please let me know where or what would be a better fit via email.

Location : Virginia

Duration : May / June - Ongoing

Schedule : Full-time preferred, minimum of 2 weeks per month to be considered

Shift : Monday Friday, 8a-4 : 30p

Call : None

Patient volume : Reads 30-35 / day, clinic 18-22 PPD, rounding 15-20 PPD (Schedule would not include all three, but could be split between two with reduced volumes reduced by 50%; example rounding am 7-10 PPD, and clinic in pm 9-11 PPD)

Scope : General Cardiology to include Clinic, In-patient Rounding, and Reading Echo and Nuclear studies

EMR : Clinic : Athena and Inpatient : Meditech

Hospital : 255 beds, Specialty Services Heart & Vascular Center, Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Cancer Program

Group / Support : 3 APP s, 3-4 MD / DO, including 2 Interventional Cardiologists

Required : Must be Board Certified in Cardiology, Nuclear and / or Echo, Virginia License strongly preferred but open to look at non-licensed
