Job Duties
Administer therapy treatment to program participants according to a Patient Plan of CareAssure all program participants receive scheduled therapy treatments, document therapy sessions.Perform supervisions every 6-8 weeks.Initial Evaluations of patientsPerform active, passive, and / or resistive therapeutic exercises, utilizing general therapy principles with program participants.Demonstrate knowledge of indications and contra-indications of healing modalities and techniques.Train program participants in homebound and community level, including endurance training.Maintain a good working knowledge of therapy equipment and therapeutic exercise treatments.Confer with health care members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate program participant information for modifying and coordinating current treatment program; participate in treatment planning with team as requested.Adhere to ethics of confidentiality.Take inventory of current therapy equipment and confer with department regarding status and future needs; request supplies as needed.Follow daily scheduling patterns, communicate with staff, and adjust schedules as needed for flexibility.Requirements :
Valid Kansas PT licenseReliable VehicleValid Driver's LicenseMust pass a background checkEffective written and oral communication skillsAbility to maintain a confidential working relationshipGood personal organizational skillsAbility to follow oral and written instructionsDemonstration of satisfactory knowledge and competency for the initial evaluations, delivery of services, treatments, and teaching.
