Compensation : $30.75 / HR

Responsibilities

This role involves making and testing lab batches for the adhesive product line. Preparation, testing, and evaluation are performed against internal standards and / or automotive customer specifications. Data is documented in an electronic lab notebook and may be issued as a formal report. Organization of data and test work is essential. The candidate must be able to work with changing priorities and adhere to timelines. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Co-develop new products according to customer needs, specifications, and business strategy.
• Make adhesive batches, conduct lab tests on paste and cured adhesives, organize and prepare substrates, collect and document data.
• Work in teams to scale up products according to established procedures and process capabilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to learn best lab practices, build competency, and work independently, safely, and efficiently.
• Ensure product quality and performance meet customer requirements by staying current on customer performance standards.
• Follow and promote environmental, health, and safety practices.
• Evaluate new materials or components as needed.
• Maintain lab equipment as the ERP (Equipment Responsible Person).
• Conduct experiments with high quality, analyze data, and interpret results.
