o Certification (one of the following) :  Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)  Certification as a Tech in Surgery from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

o License :  Colorado DORA Surgical Assistant License - REQUIRED

o BLS – REQUIRED
