Advanced Practice Nurse Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to determine their healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education and counseling on family planning, infectious disease prevention, and overall health maintenance.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including emergency situations as they arise.
- Perform airway management and other critical interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Advanced Practice Nurse Qualifications
Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse licensure requiredGraduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursingStrong knowledge of pediatric care principles and practices.Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings is preferred.Proficient in medication administration and sterile processing techniques.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
