Step into our ISO-controlled cleanroom and help transform precision-machined components into finished medical devices. As a Cleanroom Finishing Technician, you’ll handle inspection, cleaning, assembly, packaging, and labeling while ensuring every product meets customer specifications and rigorous quality standards.
A Day in the Role
You begin your shift by reviewing process routers, drawings, SOPs, and work instructions. Gowning up, you follow cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to sustain ISO Class 7 and 6 environments. Throughout the day, you :
- Clean and package components exactly per documented processes (routers, drawings, SOPs, WIs).
- Operate and maintain critical equipment : Atlas Vacuum Sealer, Aqueous Clean Line, and Citric Passivation systems.
- Execute post-processing operations such as Laser Marking, Vapor Degreasing, Blasting, Belt Sanding, and Additive Post Processing.
- Manage the cleanroom environment with regular testing, cleaning routines, inventory control, and equipment operation.
- Inspect components using CMM equipment, standard metrology tools, and visual methods to satisfy customer standards.
- Perform tensile testing and complete inspection filing and DHR documentation accurately.
- Proactively escalate potential process or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
- Keep your work area organized and spotless to reinforce a culture of precision.
- Follow procedures aligned with ISO 13485 quality requirements.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Comfort following written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.Math fluency with units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.Skill using measuring devices and common hand tools.Accuracy and speed in a fast-paced setting to meet quality and quantity goals.Experience reading diagrams or blueprints and applying written or verbal guidance.Mechanical aptitude and dexterity; confident with both hand and power tools.Ability to perform quality checks and recommend rework for any nonconforming items.If you’re detail-driven and motivated by producing patient-ready quality, we’d love to meet you in Akron.
